Does testing water immediately after swimming affect Eagle Ray results?

Sometimes I test the water shortly after several people have been swimming. I’m curious whether body oils, sunscreen, or movement in the water might temporarily influence the readings.

Yes, testing right after people swim can make strip readings look a little off because the water isn’t evenly mixed yet and you’ve got temporary effects from sweat, sunscreen, and turbulence that can skew a surface sample. I usually give it 30–60 minutes with the pump running, then I take an elbow-deep sample away from the skimmer/returns so the numbers reflect the pool average instead of a just-used pocket of water.
