How quickly should Eagle Ray readings change after chemical adjustments?

After adding chlorine or adjusting pH, I’m not always sure when it’s best to test again. How long should circulation run before testing again with Eagle Ray?
 
After you add chlorine or adjust pH, I usually wait for the water to actually mix so I’m not testing a concentrated pocket: at least 30–60 minutes with the pump running, then I pull an elbow-deep sample away from returns and the skimmer. If it was a bigger dose, the water is cold, or the pool is large, I’ll lean closer to 1–2 hours so the reading reflects the pool average.
