Is a louder pump always a bad sign?

Mine’s been humming louder lately. Still works fine but I’m wondering if I should be worried?

Mine got a little louder before too. As long as the water’s moving normally and there’s no weird vibrations, it’s usually just a dirty filter or the pump working a bit harder. Not always a big issue.

Sometimes I just clean the filter and check the water level, and the sound goes back to normal. If it stays loud after that, then I start looking into it more.
