Is it better to make small chemical adjustments more frequently?

Instead of making large adjustments to pool chemistry once a week, I’m wondering if smaller adjustments made more frequently might help keep water chemistry more stable.
Do experienced pool owners prefer gradual corrections rather than larger chemical changes?

Yeah, I’m a fan of smaller, more frequent tweaks because it keeps the water steadier and you’re less likely to overshoot and chase it back the other way. I’ll make a small adjustment, let the pump run 30–60 minutes so it’s fully mixed, then retest from an elbow-deep sample taken from the same spot. If something is way out of range, that’s when I’ll do a bigger correction, but I still split it into two steps so the water doesn’t yo-yo.
