Is weekly Eagle Ray testing enough for most residential pools?

I currently test my pool once per week using Eagle Ray. For most residential pools with moderate usage, is this frequency enough to maintain balanced water chemistry?

Weekly testing is usually fine for the slow movers (alkalinity, stabilizer, calcium), but I wouldn’t rely on once-a-week only for the fast movers like sanitizer and pH if you want truly steady water, especially during hot weather, after rain, or with heavier use. What works best for me is a full check weekly, plus quick sanitizer + pH checks 2–3 times a week (more when the pool’s getting used hard) so you don’t get surprised by a sudden dip.
