We all try to keep our pools in perfect shape, but sometimes things go wrong. What’s the worst pool disaster you’ve ever dealt with? Equipment failures, green water, crazy weather let’s hear your stories
Oh man, last summer our filter cracked the night before a big family party. Woke up to cloudy, milky water and no way to clear it fast enough. Ended up draining half the pool and refilling just to get it somewhat swimmable. Spent the whole party apologizing and explaining why the water looked like bad lemonade. Learned my lesson always check your equipment a few days ahead of time.
I’ve had something like that happen before a family get-together too. The water went cloudy out of nowhere and I freaked out. Ever since then, I always check the pool equipment a few days before any event so it doesn’t happen again.
